Volunteer Tournament Parking Information
We strongly encourage volunteers to carpool whenever possible.

For working volunteers, volunteers attending a hands-on training or anyone picking up a uniform package

- Lot opens: 5:30am
- First shuttle from gate: 5:45am

Wednesday, January 25 – Saturday, January 28
A volunteer credential will be needed to board the shuttle bus.
A printed flyer with additional information (specific parking garage locations, etc) will be emailed and also included in your volunteer packet.
Wednesday, January 25 & Thursday, January 26
- Lot opens: 5:15am
- First shuttle: 5:45am
- Last shuttle: 7:00pm
- 1st Tee Time: 9:00am (expected)
Friday, January 27 & Saturday, January 28
- Lot opens: 6:15am
- First shuttle: 6:45am
- Last shuttle: 6:30pm
- 1st Tee Time: 9:30am (expected)
Volunteer Uniform
All new volunteers are required to purchase a basic volunteer package. This includes a volunteer jacket, polo shirt, hat, volunteer badge, parking pass, and meals on days you work during tournament week. Returning volunteers from the 2019- 2022 tournaments will have the option to re-use their jacket during registration to receive a discount.
To keep everyone coordinated while out on course, we are requesting that volunteers wear:
- Khaki colored pants, skorts or shorts
- Shorts must be to knee-length
- Sneakers
- White long sleeve shirts underneath volunteer polos are okay.
- No cargo style pants or shorts
- No open-toed shoes or sandals
- No jeans
Remember to dress for warmth and layer
Uniform Exchanges:
Limited sizes will be available for exchange. Tags must be kept on all items in order to qualify for an exchange should the size needed be available.
Volunteer Check-in & Dining Tent
Check-In:
Located in the Fairway One Ballroom in the Hilton, which is just North of the 9 Tee Pad.
The following committees will check into the ballroom for their shifts: Comp Support: LBO, Scorers and Spotters, Standard Bearers, Hospitality Services, Gallery Management Office Staff, Evacuation Team and Hole Captains.
All other committees/volunteers will continue to check in at their typical location, i.e., Player On-Course Shuttles Committee
will check in at the Player Transportation Trailer in, etc. Specific instructions will be sent be your committee chairs.
Dining:
A dining tent will be located on the 9 Tee Pad. You must be wearing your full uniform and volunteer credential for access. Volunteer Dining is available to working volunteers only. No friends or family members are allowed access volunteer areas at any time.
Personal Items & Storage
Please note that there is no storage of personal items during the tournament; we recommend leaving anything of value at home.
The tournament will provide each volunteer with an approved clear drawstring backpack that volunteers will be allowed to use during the tournament. This is the only backpack that is pre-approved for volunteers to use during the tournament.

If you are not required to attend a training and cannot make it on January 21, here are alternate pick-up dates:
- Monday, January 23, 2023: 9:00am – 3:00pm at the Torrey Pines Gliderport (Ticket Services Trailer)
- Tuesday, January 24, 2022: 9:00am – 3:00pm at the Torrey Pines Gliderport (Ticket Services Trailer)
