APGA Tour Farmers Insurance® Invitational
Established in 2010, the Advocates Professional Golf Association (APGA) Tour is an inclusive non-profit organization with the mission to prepare African Americans and other minority golfers to compete and win at the highest level of professional golf, both on tour and in the golf industry. This is accomplished through professional tournaments, career development and mentoring sessions.
The seventh annual APGA Tour Farmers Insurance Invitational will take place at Torrey Pines Golf Course in conjunction with the PGA TOUR’s Farmers Insurance Open®. The event is a part of Farmers® ongoing commitment to the APGA Tour and its work to grow diversity in golf, helping to remove the financial burden associated with the game and providing playing opportunities. Both Farmers and the APGA are focused on ensuring players have access to the tools and support they need, allowing them to better focus on their career path and development in the game. New for the 2026 event: the winner of the APGA Farmers Insurance Invitational will receive an exemption to compete in the PGA TOUR Farmers Insurance Open.

- Location: Torrey Pines Golf Course, North and South Course
- 2025 Results: Kieron van Wyk became the first amateur to win the APGA Farmers Insurance Invitational after making back-to-back birdies in a 3-person, two-hole playoff. Van Wyk, a senior at the College of Charleston, shot an impressive 71 on the famed South Course to secure the victory.

Tournament Fact Sheet
The APGA Tour Farmers Insurance brings together 18 APGA Tour players to compete for a $100,000 purse on the North Course at Torrey Pines Golf Course. The field consists of players who qualify throughout the previous year’s APGA Tour season via the Cisco Cup points list, the Farmers Insurance Fall Series standings, the APGA Collegiate Rankings, the APGA Cisco Junior Series and committee exemptions. The 2026 Invitational event winner will receive an exemption into the Farmers Insurance Open PGA TOUR event the following week.
