Volunteer Tournament Parking Information

*** PARKING PASS WILL BE INCLUDED IN VOLUNTEER PACKET AND WILL ONLY BE VALID FOR SCHEDULED SHIFTS ***

Monday, January 25 – Sunday, January 31, 2021
Location: Torrey Pines Gliderport

Volunteers will be able to walk from the Gliderport entrance to the Volunteer HQ or ride in a golf cart shuttle.

IMPORTANT: We strongly encourage volunteers to carpool whenever possible.

Volunteer Uniform

All New Volunteers are required to purchase a basic volunteer package. This includes a volunteer jacket, polo shirt, hat, volunteer badge, parking pass, and meals on days you work during tournament week. Returning volunteers from the 2018- 2020 Tournament will have the option to re-use their jacket during registration to receive a discount.

We are requesting that volunteers wear khaki colored pantsskorts or shorts (No Cargo Style Pants/Shorts – Shorts must be to knee-length), Sneakers (no open-toed shoes or sandals) to keep everyone coordinated while out on course. NO JEANS.

IMPORTANT: Remember to dress for warmth and layer – White Long Sleeve shirts underneath your volunteer polos are OK.

Please note that extra volunteer merchandise is not available to purchase this year.

Due to COVID-19 uniform exchanges will not be available.

Volunteer Check-in & Dining Tent

Four committees (Hole Captains, Evac, Shotlink, and Walking Scorers) will check in for their shifts in the Fairway One Ballroom in the Hilton, which is just north of the 9 Tee Pad. Capacity will be limited and physical distancing (maintaining 6 feet between individuals) will be enforced. Volunteers are encouraged to check in and then exit the ballroom to accommodate others.

All other committees will continue to check in at their typical location, i.e., Player and Caddie Shuttles Committee will check in at the Player Lot.

Volunteer Dining Tent is located on the 9th Tee pad.

Personal Items & Storage

Please note that there is no storage of personal items during the tournament; we recommend leaving anything of value at home.

The Tournament will provide each volunteer with an approved clear drawstring backpack that volunteers will be allowed to use during the Tournament. This is the only backpack that is pre-approved for volunteers to use during the Tournament
