For the last 50 years, the Century Club of San Diego has been the local non-profit organizing body for the PGA TOUR tournament. The 1962 PGA OPEN was held at the Stardust Country Club, and professionals played for a total of $30,000 in prize money. In 2012, the Torrey Pines Golf Course will host the world's best golfers for a total purse of $6 million dollars. [MORE]
