MARKETING INTERN

Seeking a Marketing Intern to support a variety of functions in the areas of Marketing and Communications prior to and during the Tournament. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Assist with writing press releases, website content, and sales/marketing material copy
  • Assist with the production of the Official Tournament Guide, including gathering photos, content and ads from sponsors
  • Assist with the coordination and implementation of all social media strategies, leading up to and throughout the Tournament
  • Assist with customer service questions and inquiries via email, social media, and phone prior to and during the Tournament
  • Provide marketing support in the fulfillment of all partner agreements
  • Ensure Tournament website content is regularly updated

PARTNER RELATIONS INTERN

Seeking a Partner Relations Intern to support the fulfillment of all partnership agreements as they relate to signage, hospitality, catering, and on-course activations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Manage communication and implementation of the PGA TOUR’s Honorary Observer program
  • Serve as liaison between Partnerships and Operations for all Expo partners
  • Assist with communication, scheduling, and execution of Restaurant Partner program
  • Ensure all contracted signage is produced, adhering to brand standards
  • Coordinate partner hospitality requests including catering orders and venue deliveries
  • Interface with Century Club members, partners, vendors and PGA TOUR personnel

PARTNERSHIP SALES INTERN

Seeking a Partnership Sales Intern to support a variety of market outreach soliciting new business and key partnerships for the 2018 Farmers Insurance Open.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Generate VIP hospitality group sales through various outreach methods for 2018 Tournament
  • Continuous solicitation of new business via cold calling, email, and social media platforms
  • Manage outreach to new Restaurant Partners for 2018 Tournament
  • Provide excellent customer service to all individual and departmental accounts during the sales effort, as well as during the sales follow-through at the event
  • Interface with Century Club members, partners, Tournament staff, vendors and PGA TOUR personnel 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Director of Partnerships or Senior Partnerships Representative

PRO-AM & CHARITY INTERN

Seeking a Pro-Am & Charity Intern to support the preparation and implementation of the Tournament’s Pro-Ams related activities as well as assist with administration duties of the Tournament’s core charitable program, Champions For Youth. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Pro-Am registration follow-up and hanidcap verification
  • Onsite event support at the Pro-Am Pairings Party and Pro-Ams
  • Assisting with the execution of the Pro-Am Restaurant Partner Program
  • Administrative tasks related to the Pro-Ams and charity
  • Assembling Pro-Am gift packages and monitoring inventory of gift items
  • Assisting with the maintenance of Pro-Am and charitable programs website portals
  • Preparing tax leters for all donations recieved
  • Providing information and operational support for the Champions For Youth on-course activation

SPECIAL EVENTS INTERN

Seeking a Special Events Intern to support the communication, planning, and execution of the Tournament’s special events and programs including Media Preview Day, Executive Women’s Day, the Awards Ceremony, and Post Party.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Assist with pre- and event day planning to ensure top-quality events
  • Coordinate and develop run of show timelines for all events
  • Develop communication plan for events
  • Assist with collateral creation
  • Manage guest/participant registration and check-in process 
  • Serve as stage manager for the Champion’s Award Ceremony
  • Interface with Century Club members, sponsors, members of the media, and PGA TOUR representatives

TICKETING INTERN

Seeking a Ticket Services intern to assist in the coordination of ticket sales initiatives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Work with Tournament staff to fulfill all contractual ticketing needs for the Tournament and ensure proper distribution of tickets to groups, individuals and FIO clientele
  • Assist with inventory, tracking and on-site fulfillment of tickets, parking passes and badges during Tournament Week
  • Serve as a source of information for spectators, managing ticket-related incoming calls and emails

TOURNAMENT SERVICES INTERN

Seeking a Tournament Services Intern to assist on the coordination, communication, planning, and execution of all items related to Tournament volunteers. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Assist with the coordination and duties of all volunteer activities prior to and during the Tournament including volunteer registration, recruitment, uniform distribution, appreciation party, volunteer headquarters management, volunteer collateral, operations, etc.
