- Buick has donated more than $33 million to local charities through sponsorship of its PGA Tour events.
- Buick Open: $9.4 million (since 1982) to benefit the Easter Seals, American Red Cross, American Lung Association, Boy Scouts of America, Whaley Children's Center, local hospitals, and fine arts programs.
- Buick Invitational: $16.5 million (since 1992) to benefit the San Diego County Junior Golf Association, Boys and Girls Clubs, Pro Kids Golf Academy, Big Brothers and Sisters and other community and university sports programs.
