At-Risk & Underserved Youth and Military Families in San Diego

Twelve San Diego charities focused on at-risk and underserved youth and military families collect flat donations or pledges for every birdie made during the competitive rounds of the Farmers Insurance Open, a PGA TOUR event. In 2014, PGA TOUR professionals made 1,504 birdies during the competitive rounds of the Tournament.

Donations are then maximized through a bonus pool of more than $160,000 provided by Farmers Insurance, based on how much each charity raises compared to the other 11 participating organizations.

Birdies for Charity organizations also receive exposure through the Farmers Insurance Open, one of the premier stops on the PGA TOUR and Southern California’s see-and-be-seen event. Additionally, all program costs are covered by The Century Club of San Diego, including credit card donation fees, printing costs and more.

Maximize your support for a great cause and invest in a bright future for San Diego today!

Visit the Birdies for Charity Zone

at the Tournament

Stop by the Birdies for Charity Zone in the SERVPRO Fan Village for a fun way to learn about the San Diego charities supported by the Century Club of San Diego and the Farmers Insurance Open.  You’ll have the chance to explore the STAR Car police cruiser and learn about how STAR/PAL connects at-risk youth with San Diego Police officers, you can take an “unselfie” for foster youth at the Voices For Children photo booth, race Lego robots created by The Preuss School UCSD’s “Midnight Mechanics” and much more!  Learning about giving back has never been so easy and fun.

The SERVPRO Fan Village is the epicenter of action at the Farmers Insurance Open and is behind the 15th green, adjacent to the 17th fairway, and a few hundred feet from the 18th tee.
