Chip-In for Charity
The Century Club of San Diego's Chip-In for Charity program, presented by ResMed, is a unique and effective way for local charities to raise funds for their organizations. The premise behind the program is to sell discounted tickets to the Farmers Insurance Open for only $17. Participating charities retain nearly 90% of the revenues. The ticket provides access to the tournament grounds and public grandstands, providing an opportunity to see PGA TOUR players tee it up on an amazing golf course.

"ResMed is excited to partner with The Century Club and the Chip-In For Charity program for the first time," said Peter Farrell, Chairman and CEO for ResMed. "We understand that this program is a valuable asset for San Diego charities and with our support, we know the program will continue to be highly successful." The Chip-In for Charity program benefitted 34 local charities in 2011, raising close to $45,000. This boosted the total dollars raised to more than $760,000 in eight years.
"The goal of the Chip-In for Charity program is to enhance and support local non-profit organizations," said Tom Monson, 2012 Century Club President. "Net proceeds from ticket sales are used towards programs for youth, services for the homeless, and the support of active duty military and their families. 2012 affords us another opportunity to generate even more fundraising dollars and support the worthwhile charities in San Diego."
